I had a great time baking Christmas cookies this year and trying out different recipes. My friend Sue invited me to a cookie party so I took the opportunity to try out some new cookie recipes. One of my favorites was Basler Brunsli, a Swiss Chocolate-Almond Spice cookie. The process is simple enough, grinding everything in a food processor, although it takes a little bit of effort to roll them out within parchment paper since they get a little sticky from the egg whites. But well worth the effort.
